The MULTIBETON modulation process is a concept which determines installing the MULTIBETON system pipes on floor, wall and ceiling. Simply put, more pipes are always installed where there is a greater incidence of cold. This is e.g. near win-dows and exterior walls. The middle of the room and interior walls require less system pipes. This ensures rooms are not overheated, the floor stays comfortable and lukewarm. In practice, this gives you a virtually consistent room temperature which is regulated according to the Kollmar diagram.

People perceive this room climate as very comfortable and it is also beneficial to the health. Condensation, thus mold on walls and ceilings is often caused by a misconception of energy savings and room ventilation. With the MULTIBETON underfloor heating, this can be ruled out under normal operating conditions, as the underfloor heating provides cosy, consistent comfort and the control unit is therefore less likely to be set incorrectly.

The Perfect Solution for Every New Building.

MULTIBETON develops and produces energy-efficient heating and cooling systems for a vast variety of applications. Planning the floor construction includes the criteria for thermal and sound insulation along with structural requirements.

Planning the floor construction must comply with the relevant laws, regulations, directives and standards. The MB Euro System pipe and the MB Steel clip rail allow the planner to choose from different sized and diffusion resistant heating and cooling components.

We are Friend of Energy Savers.

Even in the 1970s, MULTIBETON was a “friend of energy savers”. This motto is now more topical than ever. Gas, oil and electricity prices are rising and builders are demanding cost-effective, independent heating systems. The low consumption data with MULTIBETON underfloor heating and cooling comes from how it is positioned in the room and the installation geometry. This ensures a large percentage of heating or cooling is delivered to the user directly in form of radiant energy.

Even walls, ceilings and furniture are temperature controlled, which people perceive as very comfortable, as the temperature differences between all bodies in the room is relatively low compared to convection heating. Humans are by evolution designed to absorb sunlight and can absorb it perfectly through the skin. This is why with MULTIBETON underfloor heating, people will feel comfortable and warm faster. MULTIBETON underfloor heating is operated at low heating temperatures. More humidity is preserved, which is beneficial to the health.

MULTIBETON and Power Road®

The MULTIBETON system pipes are accredited by EUROVIA for the Power Road® and are installed worldwide using this unique process.

Power Road® heats and cools buildings.

Power Road® stores renewable thermal energy in summer to heat your buildings in winter, and cool them in summer.

Power Road® cools urban heat islands.

Power Road® lowers the temperature on your road surfaces by 10 °C on average.

Power Road® improves safety.

Power Road® clears ice and snow from your roads.

Power Road® harvests heat.

Eurovia is using roads in new ways with Power Road®: it captures solar energy inside the road surface, in some cases stores that energy for several months, then transfers it to nearby buildings and other structures through heat pumps.

Power Road® heats and cools residential properties, business premises, swimming pools and sports facilities, using low-carbon technology, and cools paved surfaces in summer to help avoid urban heat islands.

Power Road® is Eurovia’s answer to help you on your energy and environmental transition.

Modernize without limits.

Comfort to Fall in Love with.

Physically speaking, humans are a heat power machine performing chemical and mechanical work. To perform this work, the body is provided energy through nutrition. A little example: A sleeping adult has a total heat output of approx. 80 W compared to an adult performing strenuous physical labour, at approx. 450 W. This shows that structures and building services must meet different requirements.

Thermal comfort is not an exact measure. If a person feels comfortable in said thermal factors, their performance is typically best. Temperature regulation is balanced and the body will be at a temperature of about 37 °C. In addition, multiple investigations on the sense of comfort have shown the range from satisfied to completely dissatisfied is quite wide.

We find a solution for every wish.

MB Screed System Cement

The ESZ-65/60 is a heating and cooling system for general commercial and residential buildings combined with cement screed.

MB Liquid Screed System

The ESF-55/50 is a heating and cooling system for general commercial and residential buildings combined with calcium sulphate liquid screed.

MB Flat Screed System

The EFS-40 is a heating and cooling system for general commercial and residential buildings (new construction and renovations) with a minimum installation height and mass, quick drying and controllability.

MB Mastic Asphalt

The MGA-40 is a heating system for residential, industrial and outside areas. These areas can be exposed to normal weather conditions. Special advantages are easy of application, high resistance, quickly ready for flooring installation, good impact sound properties and low installation heights.

MB Wall System

The WAS-30/25 is a heating and cooling system for residential and commercial buildings used as a stand-alone heating solution when the building does not allow installing underfloor heating/cooling. The WAS-30/25 is also an optimal solution for floors exposed to extremely high thermal loads or for special applications.

Power Road® transports heat.

Solar radiation first heats the bituminous pavement of the roadway (1). This renewable heat is captured by integrating a heat exchanger into the surface layers of the pavement (at a depth of 5 to 8 cm) (2). This exchanger consists of a network of tubes—similar to those used in underfloor heating—through which a heat-transfer fluid circulates. Under the effect of solar radiation, the heat-transfer fluid gradually warms up, reaching temperatures of up to 35°C. This thermal energy can then be used on demand in two different ways (3): either for immediate use (4a) or for delayed use (4b).

MB Flat Screed System

The EFS-40 is a heating and cooling system for general commercial and residential buildings (new construction and renovations) with a minimum installation height and mass, quick drying and controllability.

MB Dry Floor

TRB-17 is a heating and cooling system for general residential and office buildings, particularly for renovating and remodelling existing buildings for high loads with a minimal installation height and weight.

MB Flat System

The FLS-35/27 is a heating and cooling system for general residential and office buildings, particularly for renovating and remodelling existing buildings for high loads with a minimal installation height and weight and fast control.

MB Ready Wall

The FEW-33/28 is a dry heating and cooling system for general residential and commercial buildings and is used as a stand-alone heating solution where underfloor heating/cooling cannot be used due to the building characteristics. The FEW-33/28 is even an optimal solution for floors exposed to particularly high thermal or for special requirements.

MB Thermal Concrete

The MTB is a heating and cooling system for commercial and industrial buildings. These structures are heated or cooled by MTB, as heat or cooling is directed directly at users such as fitters, warehouse clerks, churchgoers, department store customers, production staff. Hangars, workshops and warehouses require a homogeneous vertical temperature profile which can be implemented well with the MTB.
